This group had laundered hundreds of billions of dollars for entities such as the Sinaloa Cartel and Ukrainian gun runners and was also linked to Iranian arms dealers, U.S. lottery scammers, and Russian tax evaders – a who’s who of terrible people on a global scale. Attorneys for GirlsDoPorn founder Michael Pratt would attempt to derail the case against him and his accomplices over the next couple of years, trying to push off court proceedings as long as possible.
In 2016, victims started to get in touch with Pornhub to have their videos removed, the suit said. Pornhub was hit with a $40 million lawsuit from sex-trafficking victims the day after it said it had started deleting millions of videos from its platform, Vice reported.
